Registration
Where can I register for COVID-19 vaccination?
You can log into the Co-WIN portal using the link www.cowin.gov.in and click on the “Register/Sign In yourself” tab to register for COVID-19 vaccination.
Is there a mobile app that needs to be installed to register for vaccination?
There is no authorised mobile app for registering for vaccination in India except Aarogya Setu. You need to log into the Co-WIN portal. Alternatively, you can also register for vaccination through the Aarogya Setu App.
Which age groups can register for vaccination on the Co-WIN portal?
All citizens aged 18 years and above can register for vaccination.
Is online registration mandatory for Covid 19 vaccination?
Vaccination Centres provide for a limited number of on-spot registration slots every day. Citizens aged 45 years and above can schedule appointments online or walk-in to vaccination centres. However, Citizens aged 18-44 years should mandatorily register themselves and schedule appointment online before going to vaccination centre.
In general, all citizens are recommended to register online and schedule vaccination in advance for a hassle-free vaccination experience.
How many people can be registered in the Co-WIN portal through one mobile number?
Up to 4 people can be registered for vaccination using the same mobile number.
How can citizens with no access to smart phones or computers manage online registration?

Yes, you can register on Co-WIN portal using any of the following ID proofs:

Scheduling Appointment
Can I book an appointment for vaccination in the Co-WIN portal?
Yes, you can book appointment for vaccination through Co-WIN portal after logging-in to the Co-WIN Portal through your registered mobile number. The system will show vaccination centres that allow vaccination as per the age of the citizen entered in the registration portal.
What are the options if one citizen is aged 45 or above and other is aged 18 or above?
If one citizen is aged 45 or above and other citizen is aged 18 to 44 years and both want to schedule a combined appointment, then only private paid vaccination centres or vaccination centres as per State’s policy will be made available. However, it may happen that some hospitals which are catering to people with 45 years or more may not allow the booking of appointments for people with lesser age. In that case you may make bookings one by one.
Can I check the vaccine being administered at each vaccination centre?
Yes, while scheduling an appointment for vaccination, the system will show vaccination centre names along with the name of the vaccine that will be administered in case of private hospitals. Government hospitals may not show the name of the vaccine.
Can I download appointment slip?
Yes, the appointment slip can be downloaded after the appointment has been scheduled.
How can I find the nearest vaccination centre?
You can search in Co-WIN portal (or Aarogya Setu) for the vaccination centre nearest to your location by either searching through PIN code or by choosing the State and the District.
What if I cannot go for vaccination on the date of appointment? Can I reschedule my appointment?
The appointment can be rescheduled at any time. In case you are not able to go for vaccination on the date of appointment, you can reschedule the appointment by clicking on “Reschedule” tab.
Do I have an option for cancellation of appointment?
Yes, you can cancel an appointment already scheduled. You can also reschedule the appointment and choose another date or time slot of your convenience.
Where will I receive confirmation of date and time of vaccination?
Once an appointment is scheduled, you will receive the details of the vaccination centre, date and time slot chosen for appointment in an SMS sent to your registered mobile number. You can also download the appointment slip and print it or keep it on your smart phone.
Can I get vaccination without appointment?
Citizens aged 45 years and above can schedule appointments online or walk-in to vaccination centres. Citizens aged 18-44 years should mandatorily register themselves and schedule appointment online before vaccination.
However, all citizens are recommended to register online and schedule vaccination in advance for a hassle-free vaccination experience.
2nd dose scheduling
Is it necessary to take 2nd dose of vaccination?
Yes. It is recommended that both doses of vaccine should be taken for realising the full benefit of vaccination. Both doses must be of the same vaccine type.
When should I take the 2nd dose of vaccination?
It is recommended that the 2nd dose of COVAXIN should be administered in the interval of 4 to 6 weeks from the date of 1st dose administration. For COVISHIELD the recommended interval is 4 to 8 weeks while an interval of 6 to 8 weeks gives an enhanced protection. You may choose the date of 2nd dose vaccination as per your convenience.
Will my 2nd dose appointment be automatically scheduled by Co-WIN system?
No. You have to take an appointment for the 2nd dose vaccination. The Co-WIN system will help you book an appointment in a Vaccination Centre where the same vaccine is being administered as the vaccine type (COVAXIN or COVISHIELD) of the 1st dose.
Whom can I contact if I have some problems related to my online registration of appointment?
You can call on the national helpline ‘1075’ for information and guidance on COVID-19 vaccination and Co-WIN software related queries.
Vaccination
Is vaccination free at all vaccination centres?
No. Currently, vaccination is free at Government hospitals and charged at INR 250 in Private hospitals for citizens aged 45 years and above.
From 1st May onwards, the Vaccination for people of 45 years or more will continue to be free at the Government facilities. For people between 18 to 44 years the States will announce the policy relating to payment. Vaccination will be priced by private facilities and you can see the price of each vaccine at the time of booking.
Can I check the price of the vaccine?
Yes. The System will show the price of the vaccine below the name of the vaccination centre at the time of scheduling an appointment.
Can I choose the vaccine?
System will show the vaccine being administered in each vaccination centre at the time of scheduling an appointment. Citizen can choose the vaccination centre as per their choice of vaccine being administered However, the choice will not be available at the Government facilities .
What precautions should I take at the time of 2nd dose vaccination?
The Vaccination Centres have been directed to ensure that if a citizen is being vaccinated with 2nd dose, they should confirm that the first dose vaccination was done with the same vaccine as is being offered at the time of second dose and that the first dose was administered more than 28 days ago. You should share the correct information about the vaccine type and the date of 1st dose vaccination with the vaccinator. You should carry your vaccine certificate issued after the first dose.
Can I get vaccinated with 2nd dose in a different State/District?
Yes, you can get vaccinated in any State/District. The only restriction is that you will be able to get vaccinated only on those centres which are offering the same vaccine as was administered to you on your first dose.
Which documents should I carry with me for vaccination?
You should carry your identity proof specified by you at the time of registration on the Co-WIN portal and a printout/screenshot of your appointment slip.
I have registered myself on Co-Win portal. However, I am not able to make any booking as I do not see any vaccination facility near my location? What should I do?
Yes, it is possible that no facility near your place has published their vaccination program as yet. You may wait for some time till vaccination facilities near your place are onboarded on Co-Win platform, become active and start their services.
Vaccine Certificate
Why do I need a vaccination certificate?
A COVID Vaccine Certificate (CVC) issued by the government offers an assurance to the beneficiary on the vaccination, type of vaccine used, and the provisional certificate also provides the next vaccination due. It also is an evidence for the citizen to prove to any entities which may require proof of vaccination specially in case of travel. Vaccination not only protects individuals from disease, but also reduces their risk of spreading the virus. Therefore, there could be a requirement in future to produce certificate for certain kind of social interactions and international travel.
In this context the certificate issued by Co-WIN has built in security features to guarantee genuineness of the certificate which can be digitally verified using approved utilities which are provided in Co-WIN portal.
Who is responsible for providing the vaccination certificate?
The Vaccination Centre is responsible for generating your certificate and for providing a printed copy post vaccination on the day of vaccination itself. Please do insist on receiving the certificate at the Centre. For Private Hospitals, the charges for providing a printed copy of the certificate are included in the service charge for vaccination.
Where can I download vaccination certificate from?
You can download vaccination certificate from the Co-WIN portal (cowin.gov.in) or the Aarogya Setu app or through Digi-Locker by following the simple steps. You may do so by using the mobile number used at the time of registration.

No need to panic - Çovid19 article-must read,

1. We may have to live with C19 for months or years. Don't deny or panic. Don't make your life a misery. Let's learn to live with this reality.
2. You can't destroy the C19 virus that has penetrated the cell walls, by drinking liters of hot water - you'll just be going to the bathroom more often.
3. Washing your hands and maintaining a physical distance is your best method of protection.
4. If you do not have a C19 patient at home, there is no need to disinfect your home.
5. Grocery bags / plastic bags, gas stations, shopping carts and ATMs do not cause infection.Wash your hands, live your life as usual.
6. C19 is not a food infection. It is associated with infectious droplets such as flu. There is no demonstrated risk that C19 is transmitted by ordering food.
7. You can lose your sense of smell by using a lot of anti-allergies and viral infections. These are only non-specific symptoms of C19.
8. Once you get home, you don't need to change clothes immediately and take a shower!
Cleanliness is a virtue but not paranoia!
9. The C19 virus does not fly through the air. This is a respiratory drop infection that requires close contact.
10.The air is clean, you can walk to parks and public places (just keep your physical distance for protection)
11. Just use regular soap against C19, no need for anti-bacterial soap. These are viruses, not bacteria.

16. Wearing gloves is also a bad idea; the virus can accumulate in gloves and is easily transmitted if you touch your face. Better to just wash your hands regularly.
17. Immune system gets very weak by always living in a sterile environment. Even if we are taking immune-boosting supplements / medicines, please regularly leave your house to the park / beach or anywhere else.

■ मीडियाकर्मी, टाटा व अन्य अनुषंगी कम्पनी तथा शहर के अन्य कम्पनियों के वर्कर्स अपने आईडी कार्ड दिखाकर काम पर आ-जा सकते हैं।
■ शादी के आयोजन पर परिजनों को तीन दिन पहले थाना को सूचना देना होगा, 11 लोग से ज्यादा आयोजन में शामिल नहीं हो सकते हैं ।
*16 से 27 मई तक वाहनों के आवागमन हेतु जारी दिशा निर्देश-*
■ राज्य के अंदर एक से दूसरे जिला जाने के लिए तथा जिला के अंदर एक स्थान से दूसरे स्थान जाने के लिए भी ई-पास अनिवार्य- epassjharkhand.nic.in portal से ई-पास प्राप्त किया जा सकता है l
■ राज्य में निजी वाहनों से यात्रा करने वाले यात्रियों को ई-पास तथा वैध फोटो पहचान पत्र रखना अनिवार्य होगा l रेल अथवा हवाई यात्रा हेतु जाने के लिए अपने साथ वैध टिकट रखना अनिवार्य होगा।
*ई-पास प्राप्त करने की प्रक्रिया*
■ ई-पास epassjharkhand.nic.in portal से प्राप्त किया जा सकता है। इसमें यात्रा करने वाले व्यक्ति को अपने मोबाइल नंबर को रजिस्टर्ड करना होगा तथा आवागमन के कारणों का उल्लेख करना होगा।*
ई-पास के लिए आपको क्या प्रक्रिया अपनानी होगी
• सबसे पहले आपको epassjharkhand.nic.in लॉग इन करना पड़ेगा.
• फिर एक्टिव मोबाइल नंबर को दो बार रिजस्टर्ड करने का ऑप्शन आएगा, जिसे रजिस्टर्ड करना होगा.
• फोन नंबर डालने के बाद आपको खुद ही एक पासवर्ड जनरेट करना होगा. पासवर्ड बनाने के लिए एक पॉलिसी बनायी गयी है. यानी पासवर्ड में आपको एक Capital Letter, एक lower case letter, एक न्यूमेरिक नंबर (0 – 9) और एक स्पेशन कैरेक्टर (!@#$%^&*()_+[{}) रखना अनिवार्य होगा. जैसे आप पासवर्ड इस तरह बना सकते हैं यथा – Amar@21.
• पुनः पासवर्ड कंफर्म करने का ऑप्शन आएगा, जिसपर आपके द्वारा बनाया गया पासवर्ड डालना होगा.
फिर आपके सामने झारखंड सरकार का डैसबोर्ड सामने आएगा. जिसपर फोन नंबर,पासवर्ड डालने के बाद पसर्नल जानकारी देने का ऑप्शन खुल जाएगा.
• पसर्नल जानकारी और डॉक्यूमेंट जमा करने के ऑप्शन में आपको पूरी जानकारी देनी होगी.
• डॉक्यूमेंट के लिए आपको वोटर आईडी कार्ड, आधार कार्ड, पासपोर्ट, पैन कार्ड, ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस का ऑप्शन दिया गया है. जो भी डॉक्यूमेंट आप सब्मिट करते हैं, उसका आईडी नंबर और एक फोटो (250 KB, JPG फॉर्मेट) में होना चाहिए.
• पर्सनल जानकारी देने के बाद आपके पास ई-पास का ऑप्शन आएगा.
ई-पास 4 प्रकार के लिए जारी होगा, जिसमें आपको बताना होगा कि
1 – आप झारखंड से बाहर जाना चाहते हैं.
2 – जिला से बाहर जाना चाहते हैं, लेकिन राज्य के अंदर.
3 – जिला के अंदर आना-जाना करना चाहते हैं.
4 – बाहर से झारखंड आना चाहते हैं.आपको बताना होगा कि आपको किस प्रकार के पास की जरूरत है।
*राज्य के अंदर ई-पास का प्रावधान*
■ राज्य के अन्दर एक जिला से दूसरे जिला जाने हेतु E-Pass अनिवार्य होगा।
■ निजी वाहन से जिला के अन्दर आवागमन के लिए भी E-Pass अनिवार्य होगा।
अतः, राज्य के अन्तर्गत एक जिला से दूसरे जिला आवागमन तथा एक जिला में ही एक स्थान से दूसरे स्थान जाने हेतु ई-पास की आवश्यकता होगी।
■ निजी वाहन/ टैक्सी से झारखण्ड राज्य में प्रवेश करने के लिए E-Pass होना अनिवार्य होगा।
*किन परिस्थितियों में E-Pass की आवश्यकता नहीं*
■ चिकित्सीय ईलाज तथा अंतिम संस्कार से संबंधित यात्राओं के लिए E-Pass आवश्यक नहीं होगा।
■ राज्य के अंदर व्यावसायिक वाहनों के रूप में निबंधित टैक्सी/टेम्पो/ई-रिक्शा का परिचालन बिना E-Pass के किया जाएगा। इनके लिए वाहनों का व्यावसायिक निबंधन प्रमाण पत्र/रुट पास ही पास के रूप में मान्य होगा।
■ राज्य के बाहर जाने वाले वाहनों के लिए E-Pass आवश्यक नहीं होगा।
■ भारत सरकार, झारखण्ड सरकार तथा अन्य राज्य सरकारों के वाहनों को E-Pass आवश्यक नहीं होगा।
■ राज्य के अन्दर होकर गुजरने वाली गाड़ियों के लिए E-Pass आवश्यक नहीं होगा।
*झारखण्ड राज्य में प्रवेश करनेवाले लोगों के लिए प्रावधान:-*
■ झारखण्ड राज्य में आने सभी लोगों को 07 दिनों के क्वारंटाइन अवधि में निम्न शर्तों के साथ रहना होगा:-
■ *झारखण्ड राज्य में आनेवाले/वापसी में आने वाले सभी लोगों के लिए उनका निबंधन www.jharkhandtravel.nic.in पर कराना अनिवार्य होगा। सामान्यतः यह निबंधन यात्रा हेतु प्रस्थान करने से पूर्व किया जाएगा, परन्तु किसी भी परिस्थिति में यह, झारखंड राज्य पहुंचने की तिथि के बाद का नहीं होना चाहिए।*
■ हवाई/रेल/सड़क मार्ग से झारखंड आने/वापस वापस आने वाले लोगों को *7 दिनों के लिए होम क्वारंटाइन में रहना अनिवार्य होगा।*
■ यह निर्देश हवाई जहाज के कर्मियों, राज्य होकर गुजरने वाले दूसरे राज्य के यात्रियों, कर्तव्य पर तैनात भारत सरकार के कर्मियों, खनन/निर्माण/औद्योगिक/कृषि कार्य/स्वास्थ्य देखभाल से जुड़े प्रतिदिन दूसरे राज्यों से आने-जाने वाले कर्मियों तथा *72 घण्टे के अन्दर झारखंड आकर वापस जानेवाले लोगों पर लागू नहीं होगा।*
*राज्य में व्यवसायिक/निजी वाहनों के आवागमन के समय निम्न शर्तों का अनुपालन अनिवार्य होगा:-*
■ निजी वाहन/टैक्सी/टेम्पो/ई-रिक्शा के चालकों को मास्क/फेस कवर और ग्लव्स लगाना अनिवार्य होगा।
■ निजी वाहन/टैक्सी में स्प्रे सैनिटाइजर रखना होगा एवं आवश्यकता अनुरूप उसका प्रयोग करना होगा। वाहनों को हर यात्रा प्रारंभ करने के पूर्व सैनिटाइज करना होगा।
■ यात्रा करने वाले यात्रियों के लिए मास्क अनिवार्य होगा।

गलती न करें ऐसे करें वैक्सीन के लिए रजिस्ट्रेशन
आप 18 साल से अधिक उम्र के हैं और वैक्सीन लगवाने के लिए जल्दबाजी में हैं, तो सावधान हो जाएं। ऐसे लोगों की जल्दबाजी को लेकर साइबर ठग सक्रिय हो गए हैं। उन्होंने कई फर्जी एप्स तैयार किए हैं, जिससे दावा किया जा रहा है कि यदि इन एप्स से रजिस्ट्रेशन और बुकिंग होगी तो वैक्सीनेशन के लिए स्लॉट जल्द मिल जाएगा। भारतीय कंप्यूटर इमरजेंसी रिस्पॉन्स टीम (CERT-In) ने फर्जी कोविड-19 वैक्सीन रजिस्ट्रेशन एप्स को लेकर अलर्ट जारी किया है।
सीईआरटी की ओर से कहा गया है- वैक्सीन रजिस्ट्रेशन के नाम पर सोशल मीडिया और मैसेज के जरिए लोगों को फर्जी एप्स के लिंक पहुंच रहे हैं। इन एप्स के जरिए लोगों के साथ ठगी की जा सकती है। कई लोगों को रजिस्ट्रेशन और स्लॉट बुकिंग की समस्या हो रही है। साइबर ठगों ने इस मौके का फायदा उठाने के लिए कई फर्जी एप तैयार किए हैं। सीईआरटी के अनुसार, इस तरह के एप लोगों से बिना जरूरत वाली परमिशन लेते हैं और फिर उसका गलत इस्तेमाल करते हैं। उदाहरण के तौर पर भले ही उन्हें फोन की गैलरी की जरूरत नहीं है लेकिन परमिशन इसकी भी ली जा रही है। इन एप्स के जरिए डाटा लीक की भी संभावना है।
हैकर्स ने कई फर्जी एप्स तैयार किए हैं जिन्हें लेकर दावा किया जा रहा है कि यदि इन एप्स से रजिस्ट्रेशन और बुकिंग होगी तो स्लॉट जल्दी मिल जाएगा।

The most common symptoms of COVID-19 are
- Fever
- Dry cough
- Fatigue
Other symptoms that are less common and may affect some patients include:
